Is this enough to put a guy in jail?

the lead singer of this this cuban punk rock band PORNO PARA RICARDO,its gonna go to court tomorrow in cuba and he is facing 4 years in jail because of the lyrics of his songs.given that is a punk band and they are loud and foul mouthed but just having a different opinion is enough to put someone in jail?

It Depends on the lyrics and how bad they are my guess is it wouldn't be. have you listened to some of the lyrics hot rapper are putting out these day and no ones doing anything to them.

probably in cuba, i mean not here in the usa unless it is like really bad. but communism bands like everything. so probably yes

In a communist country, saying or doing anything the government doesn't approve of can send you to jail or even the hangman's noose.

well, its Cuba, so I guess that they seem like a stricter government free-speech wise, so would probably be much more likely to convict someone for innappropriate speech.

However, My Opinion? No, that isn't enough to put someone in jail. The only time that someone should not be allowed to say what they want is when it directly and purposefully incites violence.
