Is this expensive or reasonable?

I just move to the US, and i am not sure about the prices ranges here. I am buying a wardrobe.

Please for any other suggestions. I try not to spend too much money, cos i still need alot more furniture.

Agree with Cat's Mother, and would throw "yard sales" into the suggestions.  Almost all older furniture will be much better quality than anything for sale in stores such as Wal-Mart.  This is nearly 'disposable furniture".  Older stuff is made with real wood, real fasteners, has character, and can last hundreds of years.

I would suggest that you check the second hand stores and used furniture stores. They usually offer some fine heavy duty furniture that will be sturdier than what Walmart offers. I would use my yellow pages telephone directory for this search. Just ask them for what you want and ask them how far away they are from you. The main question is, "Do they offer free or low-cost delivery?" If you don't have a car and need this kind of furniture, then Walmart may work out for you. I wish you well in your efforts to obtain substantial and appropriate furniture for your particular needs. Keep this in mind - What shall we then say to these things? It depends on what you are looking for. If you just want something to get you through for a short while fine.

If you are buying it at Walmart you are probably getting the cheapest price possible.But think about going to a used furniture store or

thrift shop that would be much cheaper.
