  1. you are far sighted which means u can see up close, but not far away.  It's not super bad it's on the lower end of prescription but still means you need glasses/contacts.  Without them you probably couldn't legally drive.

  2. You would just need to where glasses when you drive or when you watch tv.  He just means you nearsighted.

  3. Do worry, you can worry when you have a prescription like mine, +5.50, so count yourself lucky.

  4. Like everyone except the first guy said , you are near sighted. What he means by this is that this is the curvature required in your lenses to focus the light on your retina and give you clearer vision.  With that prescription I would expect that you would want to wear them all the time. Once you see how clear everything is you won't want to go back to what you saw without them.  Your eyes aren't bad, but depending on your age, 13-18?, you may find you have a little stronger prescription next time.

  5. I THINK that has to do with your reading glasses. Go to a drug store and buy a pair +1.75 reading glasses.

  6. well your nearsighted and your RX is considered low

some opticians would recommend to wear your glasses/contacts fulltime and others may tell that you only need

    them for reading the blackboard

  7. Anytime your prescription is a negative number, you are NEARSIGHTED (meaning, you can see NEAR, and can't see far as well)

No, it's not bad.  It's a little under average actually, which is  a -2.50.
