Is this fair and balanced?

I ran across this "News" article on Yahoo this morning.

To me, it appears to be a press release or statement by the Obama campaign. How can a news reporter see this as news and not just speculation?

Because contrary to what used to be taught in journalism school, most reporters today view it as their role and obligation to "create" news, not to just report it.  Arrogant SOB's aren't they?
