Is this false claiming?

ok. say your from new york. you were born there and lived there until you were ten. then you moved to Indiana and you lived there for almost 5 or 6 years. and it turns out you like indiana waaaaaayyyyyyy better then new york. is it false claiming if you want to rep (represent) indiana rather then your home state new york?

  1. There is no problem with that. Obama was born in Hawaii but represent IL in the senate. Biden was born in PA but represents Del in the senate. McCain was born in the Philippines but represents AZ in the senate.  


  2. If you feel more connected to Indiana, then that is where you say you are from.  If someone asks you where you were born, then the answer is New York.

  4. No!  There is a difference.  Ones native state is where one was born.  The place where one chooses to take up long term or permanent residence is ones home state, because as they say, "Home is where the heart lives."
