I have a friend, and he just came out to me 2 weeks ago. He sort of told me about his problem. The closet thing is just another thing, but this fetish he got is sort of disturbing. Not disgusting, just disturbing.

He is very muscular, he likes to go to the gym and stuff. But he only get turned on by large overweight person. At first, he looks like a chubby chasers, until i found out that he only get turned on when he see that overweight person is doing some heavy physical training, like push up, or sit up and gets turned on more when the overweight person gets tired.

Also, he found enjoyment to help the overweight person to become slim and slender. but the next problem is, he always dump his guys after 3 to 5 months which is the exact amount time for an overweight person to look s**y. And yes, once his boyfriend is no longer chubby, he no longer feel love for him!

I told him to get to psychiatrist, but he claims that he must not be the only one to be like this, so he doesn't feel abnormal about this. So, is this actually normal? I mean, if this is even normal like what he said, there must be a name for this right?

  1. I dont think its a problem that he likes overweight ppl...

I think he has a problem since he helps them get skinny and then dumps them. He is never going to find anyone he loves like that!

Maybe he should leave them overweight so he can stay with them!

  2. Well he may very well be a person only attracted to overweight individuals.  If the person is no longer overweight then he will lose attraction.

As you so eloquently put it "he always dump his guys after 3 to 5 months which is the exact amount time for an overweight person to look s**y."

How did you come up with this figure?  I was overweight at one time and it me a lot longer than 3-5 months to get a good body. Being overweight also does not coincide with being unsexy.  There are a lot of attractive people of bigger size.  It just depends on the what you are physically attracted to.

  3. Tell your friend he would be an excellent water bed sales person. or a baker!

  4. Well, yeah, like you said. He's a chubby chaser. I guess that can be a fetish too?? O_o

I'm at a loss of words. I'm not really sure what to make of this! It's kinda humerous but, strange, yet fascinating how someone can get aroused by...fatness. LOL

I don't think that he should get into a relationship and dump them after they get skinny because that's just wrong.

Is he a trainer?? Like I dont understand. if he likes them overweight, why would he TRY to make them thinner?? I mean, that's a good thing. Better built than fat but, like he's going against what he likes, which makes no sense. maybe he likes the guy, helps him, and then in the process finds out they are losers??

    IDK!!

  5. i dont think this is a fetish or real love. i think he has some deep personal reason for this. perhaps one that drives his own physical training. perhaps he sees himself in the unhealthy men, and wants to fix them, but when they are no longer overweight he no longer sees himself in them. perhaps he is "bigorexic" a coined term to mean addicted to making urself muscular, and thinking ur wimpy, sort of like anorexia.

i thenk he probablee has some deep routed issues, maybe with childhood an self esteem, an he shud see a psychiatrist to work them out ♥ the kinds of people we are attracted to (not gender, but personality an character) are often related to childhood issues, an parental issues. we often seek a person with the faults of our parents so we can fix the faults we cudn't fix in our parents

  6. It seems like he feels attracted to these guys but he is not attracted to skinny guys so it is not really love when he is with them. Sad really. Maybe he will get with a guy who wont get skinny, but if not i feel like he should see a dr, or learn to stop using these guys.
