My grade 4 teacher and I have a really tight bond and this year i graduated from elementary school and i'm moving ,so is she .

she gave me her e-mail address and i talk to her and e-mail her all the time! I really have a good bond with her and i plan to keep in touch with her , do you think this is geeky ?????????????

(BUT I REALLY REALLY HAVE A GOOD BOND WITH HER)

The more adults that care about you and have a positive influence on you, the better!  It is called being a Mentor.

I assume your parents know about the fact that you keep in touch with your former teacher, and surely they approve.

I don't think it is geeky...I don't think it is right though.  It sounds like this could be a problem if you are not carefull. .  There is a fine line between a student and teacher and I think she crossed that line.

Not sure where you live but this is prohibited in some States. Teachers are not allowed to email their students.

No - You are not geeky but I'm guessing you are only about 9 years old..
