Is this gift ok for renewing of vows?

My cousin and his wife are renewing their vows after about 10 years of marriage. They were married by the Justice of the Peace. They have a beautiful home with 3 boys, pretty much everything. I'm stuck on what to get them for a gift. Would a nice engraved picture frame or photo album be ok or a $50 American Express gift card be sufficient?

  1. Honestly I would not get them a gift unless its something personal like a photo frame, album, or something the family can enjoy together. 10 yr anniversary/vow renewal just seems like its not the right occasion to give money, I mean they already have everything.

  2. Since they are already married and established, a small gift is sufficient.

I like your three choices and all of them are appropriate. Since they have a furnished home, I would give them the $50 AE card.

    Good luck

  3. absolutely.  Think of it as an elaborate anniversary party, not a wedding.

  4. I would go with the gift card. Since they have everything in their home already, a photo album might be put into storage. Let them get something they can pick out for themselves.

  5. definitely the picture frame its more personal
