Is this gift too expensive?

I am 14 with no job and no allowance.

but I think it might be too expensive for me.

If you have no money, why try to get something that costs so much?  America has gotten so materialistic that we've forgotten that gift giving is about the feelings you have for the one you're giving to, not how much stuff they can get.  Yes, it is a cool gift, but start good money manging skills, now, by sticking to what you have the means to get or make for her.  My little sister just graduated from college and while she was in school and was a broke college student, I understood when she made gifts or just gave a card; in fact, I still have a clay rabbit she made me in kindergarten, I cherish over anything else I have!

Too expensive is when you don't have the cash in hand to pay for an item.  If you have the extra money buy it for your sis.

its def. not cheap. But who wants to be called cheap? If its a special occasion then go for it like a birthday, then go for it.

nothing is too expensive for someone who cares about you. I always try to get my sister the best presents. My friends, they can get cheap stuff, but my family will always be appreciated w. nice things from me.

60 bucks isn't too much, specially if you have some extra cash.

If you feel that you can't afford to spend that much but would like her to have this item why not ask your mum to help out. If she doesn't want to suggest that you will do extra chores for the money.

If you are 14 with no job or allowance then how are you going to pay for anything regardless of the price? If your able to get the money then I would say for a sister, nothing is too expensive.  But you have to be realistic about how much money you can get.
