I love the name Jill. My husband is on the fence. (Neither one of us like Jillian)

What do you think of when you hear it? Is it too plain/outdated for a little girl? Also what are some middle names?

  1. Jill is okay, Jillian is adorable!

I would go for something else, maybe use it as a middle name?

  2. Well, i'm a young person/adult myself and it reminds me of an old type of name. However for this generation that it is now, it could be "in fashion" as old names for young children seem to be coming back in.

I think if you thought of a good middle name to go with it, it would be quite nice, unique and not too plain.

    Hope this helps :)

  3. I like it! Who cares what other people think? As long as you like it that's all that matters. I think it is really cute.. just don't name a son Jack!

  4. Not at all! I agree with you; I dislike Jillian also. But Jill is nice and cute for a little girl and an adult. Good luck! :o)

  5. i dont like it. jack and jill went up the hill? sounds like an old secretary no offense. or jill from home improvement.

  6. its waay to plain. if i had a daughter i would name her Camren.

middle names- name her after your grandma or mom. if u dont want to, i like the names maria, kira, or jordin.

  7. I like it!  It doesn't get overused, it's doesn't sound old like Emma or Emily.  Use a last name like Bryant, or something unusual and sort of masculine for a middle name.  How does your maiden name sound with it? or Mary?

  8. I think its adorable and i love it, its not too plain, Jill is a great name, and you could spice it up with a fancy middle name liek

    Jill Angelina

    Jill Nicole

    Jill Charlotte

    Jill Nevaeh

    Jill Noel

    Jill Victoria

    Jill Vanessa

  9. I still prefer Jillian, i am not a big fan of jill.

  10. I say if you like it go for it!!

I like Jill Elizabeth, its kinda hard for middle names....but thats what i could think of at the moment:)

  11. I love it, no I don't think it's too plain/outdated.  Those sorts of names are making a massive comeback, although Jill I don't think is too popular anywhere right now, which is great.  Name your daughter Jill - I'm sure you'll hear of someone you know following in your footsteps!!

Jill reminds me of a cute little girl with a strong outgoing personality :)
