if I had to say this in english, how would I say thisB (upside u) (AUC') = (A (upside down u) B u (BNC')?

When there is a complement sign, (AuC') am I looking for everything in B?

  1. Draw three overlapping circles, labeled A B and C.

    Where A and B unite that's A union (U) B

    Where A is not united with B that's A complement

    Where A and B are all counted but not double counting the overlap, that's A integrated with B (upside down U).

    Now apply the same for C and you are all set to answer this yourself
