I watched "V for Vendetta" the other day and it made me start thinking. The economy of the US is sliding and a lot of bad things are happening to us here. What if what the author (i can't think of his name) of "V for Vendetta" was right about our future? What if this actually happens to us? Are we doomed for a world of which he predicted? What do you think?

  1. Didn't see the movie.

What sort of future was it predicting?

  2. All you young people must realize that the world wasn't invented just 10 years ago.

These ongoing dramas are the stories of human existence.  There have always been wars, and there have always been good economic times, followed by bad economic times.

The U.S. has been through tough economic times before, and it has always straightened out the problems and prospered.  To think things will be different this time around, merely because it is happening in your young days, is foolish.

  3. I feel sorry for you, to be 12 y/o and growing up in this world.

  4. Hopefully there will be a future, but it depends on if mankind can get its act together, and plan for it.

I have faith that we will overcome many of the problems facing us, however we will see a starkly different kind of life style than we have now, with more stringent controls on the population.

  5. Listen little one while mommy and dad and friend and neighbor and the rest of us keep on buying like there is no tomorrow then there wont be much of a future on your Generation with Central Americaas of now who are nearly Ten trillion in debt its you whos going to pay the debt  all you have to do is just hang out with your friend while we carry on making the future look very very bleak for you young uns
