  1. The display resolution MUST be at least 1920x1080 for you to get FULL HD.

    The other specs I believe are just compatibility (i.e. they will still work, even though the quality won't be the same as on a FULL HD screen)

    Sounds like Blu Ray will run fine on it, but if you're after the best quality, you need to look at 1920x1080.


  2. "full HD" is just meaningless marketing hype!

    Unless your set is bigger than 50", 1080P isn't needed.

    No, you don't have 1080P, you have 768P, usually referred to as 720P.

    Again, unless you hacve a large set, Blu-ray will look great on your set.

    Just set the Blu-ray to 720P output.
