  1. It's always good to seek an advice from a paediatrician [sorry if i spell it wrong]. As a layman I would say no need as milk has covered the needs. The child may get 'overdosed'

I've never taken that thing when I was a kid, but I'm healthy. I did well also at school. Healthier than a friend that taken it regularly when he was a kid.

My friend had undergone surgery 3 times - heart problem, appendix, hernia. But not sure this was due to scott's emulsion or else

  2. Cod liver oil : In capsules -rich nutritional values of -- water /  minerals trace-vitamins  /   fat  /   caboh hydrate.

Give us Energy / Vitamins . including EPA (DHA-OMEGA #3-dietry supplements.

Scott's Emulsion:creamy  liquids -with or without flavours

Good for: - Daily dietry supplements-for normal healthy person, abnormal health , have to be consulted

Personal experiences-reducing Hyperactive ,good for the brain, eye and "well being"

  3. Hi Sarah,

I would have to say Scotts as it has got added calcium to it plus it's orange flavour so it wont taste so awful (as cod liver does) to your anak.

    Anak indor sukit?

    Edit:

It certainly wont do your baby any harm by giving her the medicine.

So apa nama nuan? is it a cool name or a kind of goofy name?

    Edit:

Boss, mabok ka? hehehe! I'm pretty sure that your friend's heart, appendix and hernia problems has got kosong to do with taking Scotts Emulsion as a baby. Scott's Emulsion has been on the market for nearly 130 years, so I think that somebody would have realised by now if there was something wrong with the product!

  4. Both are the same but scotts emulsion is better. it had been trusted for many generation.

  5. Sarah..as i mommy myself..i would say thatt Scott Emulsion is the better ones but only as a supplementary for added body immune towards cough and colds..and such..but please be advise that the syrup is not advisable to be taken by a baby under the age of 2 years..

Dont worry that much if your daughter dont feel like eating that much as long as she consumed at least 3-4 bottles a day with each feeding is up to 7=8 auns, should be enough.. the milk provided enough energy and all the vitamins she needed..unless if you still worry then maybe you could add 4-5 scoops of nestum and mix it with her milk..

Normally kids like her age knows whether is it enough for her to make her tummy full..dont forceher to eat as this will make her hate food..maybe what you can do is to give her mashed macaroni and cheese or simply cheese stick.. or maybe mashed potatoes and carrots and peas..

some kids also hates food like rice or things like kinda hard for her to chew..they simply lazy to do so..

my kids are just the same..dont worry, they eventually will outgrow all those worrying habits...and oh! regarding the Scotts thingy..hmm, i make a pass on it as i think its not necessarily needed..
