theres the link where its for sale and its really bugging me. what year is that truck and what engine packages did that truck come with? any info on it would be greatly appreciated. thanks

i know gm made trucks in the year 2000 in  the 99 model

they switched body styles mid year in 2000

so it really could be a 2000

The new body style was the 1999 Silverado C1500 1/5 ton.  The C2500 and C3500 3/4 ton and 1ton were sold until 2002 in the older "Classic" body style and the newer "Silverado" style.

the one in the picture can definitely be a 2000 "classic" C2500

Could be a 2000.  That body style was made into 2000 or 2001. In my opinion  Its better looking than the later models.

It's a Silverado Classic. My cousin has one. They had the same options as any Chevy truck from ' 88-'98. They were really just a stop gap until the new body style was ready.

Are you thinking about buying it? If not, why are you so worked up about it?
