Is this horse abuse?

my neigbor has three horses and non of them have any shelter from the hot arizona sun and the ground they walk on is very rocky. they also hardly ever (maybe once a month) ride them or excersise them. is this animal abuse or not?

well i'd say it is, but look up online or call a shelter they might help.

i dont think its animals abuse but they definatley shouldnt be in that type of area... they should atleast have a couple of trees for shelter. you should talk to the neighbor about it or call an animal horse person and ask them about this.

no its not abuse. what do you think they do with horses on ranches. as long as they have grain,hay,and water they'll be alright.

the horses should have shelter from the wind rain and sun. not taking the horses out is not abuse. ask yourself is the horses have grass to eat if not does your neighbor feed them and is there any water if the answer to these is no they are abusing the horses. i keep horses and they don't have a "shed" for shelter but the have a couple of large trees.

its cruel and can be considered abuse! why not do something about it you could be saving 3 horses!

It's not animal abuse.

It's just what they choose to do with their animals.

Not abuse but it is a bit cruel. They need protection from sun and rain but if they have horse shoes, rocky ground wont be too much of a probolem. Also if the field is big enough they wont need much excercise.
