Sounds lovely  -  "ideal for a couple", but has 4 bedrooms???  Anyway, the asking price is £795,000 which is what they hope to get.  You  could offer rather less and see if they will negotiate.  First of all, though, do a search online or in real estate windows, for similar properties in the same area.  That will give you a better idea of current valuations.

No idea how much it is

But in the current housing market. a mortgage may be difficult to obtain

Are going to live in it or rent it
