Is this how hamsters mate, HELP!!!!!!!!

i have a male hamster (Chester) and i just got a female hamster (Sherley) i put my female with my male and my male started to go on my females back. is that how they mate or are they fighting. if they were mating is my female pregnant now. HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

Um, usually that is how any animal mates.  

I am not sure why you'd want to breed your hamsters.  I hope you have homes for all of them.

Your female may be pregnant now.  Sometimes it takes more than one time for her to become impregnated.

Take the male hamster out of the cage.  Male hamsters do not make good fathers.

yea mating.....and if you female gets pregnant take the male out he'll eat the babies... yea I know hampsters are evil

it is how they mate but it takes 20 mins or so and just because they had s*x does not mean she is pregnant not to be to detailed but the male could fire blanks meaning she wont unlikely but u never no u will tell if she is she will make a BIGGER nest and more food and she will look like she swollowed a gulfball
