  1. If he is a crook why would very well-known reputable white companies do the accounting ? He never took one sent salary when he was the president but instead it was rerouted to the children's fund . I have visited many places with him where children has benefited greatly ,from schools, his children's hospital ,Orphanages and abandoned aids victims .

Easy to criticize but can not be equaled !

So very little gets done for these children and when someone actualy does something they get critisized ! Seems to me like a good deed never goes unpunished !

He has my respect . BTW MANY of the children is white .

  2. remember he did plot to kill human beings that is no solution and puts him on the same basis as the government he was trying to bomb

  3. Did He ever came out with the Truth what he done

    No I don't think so

How many children did he and the anc killed on June 16 1976 did he ever told you the hole story

    No he did not

He is a old man now can we ask him to tell the truth before he passes on

And the money where does it go

    Just asking

  4. The killings started when the White people mistreated the none whites and not even allow them to swim near them at the sea.  That was rubbish!  So that's why the ANC is those years started killing white farmers, pity they didn't kill Eugene Terreblanche!  Mandela was the best President , he didn't see color on anyone. Unlike FW De Klerk and Botha.  Thabo Mbeki failed the South Africans.  Jacob Zuma won't be a good president.  So if you don't have money to move to other country then tough! deal with it!  Bottom line is there' will be no White president in South Africa!  The country will go down each year, the crime rate will increase, the inflation rate will go up again and the petrol price.  Thanks to Thabo Mbeki, the idiot.  Mandela was fair and very intelligent!  He was a peaceful man. The mandela charity fund is not for his own pocket!  He's got more money than your De Klerks, Botha , Malan and all the afrikaaners racist pigs. Stop moaning and go live in a better country for the sake of your children.  There will be no brighter future in South Africa.  Stop blaming the past and move on!!!! Everyman for himself, God for everyone!

  5. It's been said very eloquently (once again) by Bull. Nothing to add except to shout from the rooftops, AGREE, AGREE, AGREE!

  6. I respect the Mandela that came out of jail...nuff said.

  7. I am black and I think that Mandela should have been shot. Long ago. He should have never been sent to prison. The ANC has done nothing for me but made my life more difficult. I want a white government. You knew what you would get and what you wouldn't.

  8. I said as in the case of Zuma and Mugabe others help put them all on a pedestal

  9. For me as a white female

I see Nelson Mandela as a true leader and inspriration for all

He is and will always be a role model

He was treated badly by white people and yet he came back to be the better person he became a president and didnt blame everything on apartheid he said rather lets make a difference together.

He welcomed everyone into the country no matter the color of your skin he didnt say just because you are white you are considered less and you have to pay for the things you did not do

  10. I don't. He has done things I don't agree with but I believe he has also brought change to this country. These phrases that he is a communist terrorist (by the way, wtf is that?) that are being repeated over and over on this forum just bore me. Someone here indeed said that communism and terrorism are the same thing (sic). Some people really don't know ****, all they can do is complain...

It's gonna take a long time for those people to realize that change is not all bad.

    And also:

Why bother with a question from someone who has not even been to this country in the first place?

  11. Ayiza, you must admit that Mandela DID engage in terrorist activities.  So why should he NOT be called a terrorist?

I cannot comment on the crook part.

Nor can I say much about his children´s fund, because I have not heard much about it, just that he has this fund.

Also, I do not see from Cheri´s reply that she was comparing Mandela to Mugabe. There was merely mention that Mugabe gets away with everything.

It is my opinion that Mandela was "nominated" President because the Western World wanted it.  He had suffered a lot in prison, and it just looked very good to have this "symbol" of the struggle become President.

Mandela is an old man, and is wise. But, sadly, a large part of his life was spent isolated from everyday life.  That is why I agree to a certain extent that he was a "puppet".

I never had anything against Mandela being President. The whole world was suddenly focused on SA. And in the beginning things also were running very well in the country.  Unfortunately, some time or another, things started getting out of hand.  I cannot pinpoint the exact time, but crime slowly worsened, and then rapidly got even worse, and the President was not doing anything about it!! Why?  Did he INTEND it to be so bad? Was there a hidden agenda to get rid of the whites?

When whites who owned businesses (= employers who gave people jobs) sold up and left, and academics and other white collar qualified people started leaving the country, what did Mandela say?  "GOOD RIDDANCE !"

Those 2 words did it for me.  Good riddance! That proved that he did not CARE whether the whites left the country!!

If he had tried to prevent people from leaving by doing some sort of bargaining, things might have turned out differently.  But, as far as I am concerned, from that day on, the whole attitude changed in SA.  The words were uttered, and the message came across loud and clear to all blacks and white and every other South African.  SA does not need or want the whites!

I still think that he is a very nice pleasant person.  BUT, he had the opportunity to HELP South Africa and South Africans to reconcile and integrate, but he did not use it.

  12. Madiba was a terrorist/freedom fighter, call it what you like, when he was young. He was responsible for bombings and took into account, that the very people he was fighting for could be killed in the process as well. But he can not be blamed alone for those bombings although it was lumped mainly on his shoulders.

In my opinion it is astounding that a person could have been jailed for 27 years of his life and walks out without raging with revenge and instead tries to reconcile the South African people, preventing a (official) civil war. (Many people from both sides wanted it)

The man that went to jail was not the same wise man that walked out

I respect him immensely and I do believe that he stands for peace. I believe he tried everything in his power to try and achieve what seems to be an almost impossible task. Freedom and peace in South Africa. It is ludicrous to throw the blame and problems of South Africa at one man’s feet, and especially not his feet!

In terms of his MANY charity organisations. It annoys me, and I question that within a day they can cough up 1Mill for the foreigners that were attacked recently, but many South African people are and were living under worse conditions, even before the attacks. Why don't they cough up that easily for South Africans in need.

Why do so many people believe that Mandela has full control of the ANC and their dealings?

  13. I have nothing but respect for the man. He did more than his share to help put this county on the right track. The clowns that followed him could take 'n few tips.

  14. That's how many (not all) white South Africans think of him. They are still bitter that they've lost the right to be the "baas". Despite their hatred, Mandela, is a world icon. And don't get surprised that some of those making this vile remarks run like kids in a sweet shop just to have a climpse of him.

  15. HA HA - but you can call Verwoed, Botha, Smith, De Klerk - the white devils and unspeakable names but let's not insult your dear beloved Mr. Mandela...

I think he is a crook, a murderer - I think he and his successors took a Great Nation and have turned it into a circus - day by day they are running this once-great country into the ground...

Peace and Harmony - tell that to the hundred of innocent white and black victims of this saint...!!!

Once again your double standards - show your complete and utter arrogance and ignorance...

    *ADD*

Cheri - I agree 100% with what you said - you don't need to justify you answer to this fool!!!

    *ADD*

    Just read Bulls link:

The crimes committed by the ANC in the name of liberation are legion. First, there was the practice of "necklacing," in which a petrol-filled tyre is placed around the neck of a victim and set ablaze - an action carried out by Winnie Mandela and her minions. Another horror was the "Church Street Massacre," in which Nelson Mandela approved of a bomb set to explode at rush hour to maximize casualties of Afrikaner women, children and babies. The same Mandela who told the Black youth of South Africa to "burn down" their schools has produced a lawless, unemployable generation. Mandela recently travelled to Libya and presented Gaddafi with South Africa's highest military medal.

    He is truly a saint!!!!

Ayiza: Why pick trouble about someone who stand for peace and harmony in this country?

    Savagery breeds Savagery....

  16. I think he is a terrorist who killed people and are now being made out to be a saint in the eyes of the world. I think it is unfair that all his deeds are swept under the rug, because he fought for his freedom. Why don't they show his victims of the 'struggle days' on those big screens?

I don't see anyone applauding the white people who made this country great to begin with.

I do not think he pockets the money he gets for his charity, but how much of that money goes to help white children? I'll rather support a children's home that I know is going to use the money to everyones benefit.

The world has a very skew view of Nelson Mandela.

  17. Terrorist - A radical who employs terror as a political weapon; usually organizes with other terrorists in small cells; often uses religion as a cover for terrorist activities

Sorry but There is nothing anywhere that proves Madiba was a terrorist. There is evidence that he was a freedom fighter - the freedom of blacks mostly. The freedom of an entire group that another group held back, held down, abused and misused. Do we call YOU terrorists for fighting the Brits during the Boer War? Maybe we should! I am sorry  if the hardline Afrikaaners do not like this but, for the most part you are not particularly nice people. You are selfish, self-centered, self proclaimed righteous which is a far cry from being  in fact, righteous.

And now that the world has finally arrived at the same conclusion, you carry on like a bunch of badly behaved children calling names and defaming other people. If you had any idea of how the rest of the world saw you, you would adjust your behaviour.

Madiba is and was not perfect, who is? But he brought about a change that in any other sector would have required wide open and outright war measures. You would have been slaughtered. Do you count your blessings??? NO! You get into forums looking for other racists hoping for some back up. If push ever comes to shove which I hope it never does, I guarantee you, most of these foreign racists will desert you. They are, just like you are, cowards hiding behind cutsie names and avatars.

Those that have replaced Mandela may not have been the best choices but I do not see any of you working at anything that can put better people in. Look around you. What have you ever done in your miserable lives to help anyone other than yourselves? The correct answer begins with an N and ends with a g and has othin between.

About the children's charity money - How many poor, uneducated whites in need are there in South Africa? How many poor, uneducated blacks in need? I know you all got basic arithmetic lessons and that is all you need to figure out who and why the money goes where it goes.

  18. Nelson Mandela is, was and always will be a vile soviet trained communist and terrorist with the blood of women and children on his hands.

Caving in to U.S. pressure and putting on a show that he is a "man of peace", as you put it, will never erase true history or documented fact, although I'm certain that you and the other ANC thugs frequenting this forum would love for those of us in the higher IQ bracket to believe the rewritten history of the ANC as you do.

Let that f*cking ape go and wash the feet of the victims of his barbaric atrocities and maybe we will forgive him, possibly even respect him, even that will not alter the fact that he belongs behind the handles of a wheelbarrow, as do you.

What would you have us make of his and his beloved ANC's alliances with despots, rogue nations and human rights violators the world over such as Qaddafi of Libya, the Burmese Junta, China, Iran, Iraq, Cuba and Castro as well as the tyrant Mugabe, not mentioning his continued anti west propaganda despite still begging in the west as would any African cockroach knowing only the begging bowl?

  19. I do not think Mandela was a saint, and it does irk me that he is given saint status by some- although he has never claimed this for himself. I admire the great magnanimity he showed up until and after '94 too. I do not think he is fundamentally a bad man, his ex-wife- well that is another story. I must admit I am disappointed by his silence of late on issues such as xenophobia and Mugabe but I suppose he is old and tired too. The only person here, to my knowledge at least, who knows Nelson Mandela is Heavy D, so he is the only one who can really say, and he has spoken of him highly- so there you go.  I am sure Mandela, as Tutu, is not so impressed with the way things have gone, I just wish he would speak out more.

The same people who go on about Mandela being a terrorist never talk about Vlakplaas, Wouter Basson, ET and so on..., they are too polarised.

PS Just for Emjay's Commandante.... VIVA FIDEL!!!

  20. Hitler was a fantastic leader... He brought Germany out of poverty... eliminated unemployment and introduced motorways (freeways) and more railways... And yet he became a racist mass murderor...

Mandela threatened to murder people... but he rid South Africa of the heavily racist society... (albeit it is still racist... it is not legally so).

George Bush rid Iraq of an evil man... But he also stuck his nose into Aphganistan and other countries to get oil and power from them...

Tony Blair rid england of the disgusting tradition of Fox Hunting... and yet he made student have to pay for Universities, even though he was a labour party leader...

They all have done terrible things... awful things. But they have also all done good things. It is just held in a comparison... Nelson Mandela did more good than evil internationally. Hitler did more evil than good internationally. Tony Blair and George Bush claimed they were doing good but as it is turning out they have done worse internationally...
