Is this how you say my favorite color is green in spanish?

Mi color favorita es el verde.

Everything is OK, just change "favorita" to "favorito".

"Favorita" is in feminine and "favorito" in masculine, and "color" is a masculine noun.

Mi color favorito es el verde.

With "el" in there, I believe you're saying "My favorite color is the green."  So take "el" out if you just want it to be green.
