Is this illegal ''boxing fights on dvd''

i came across a site that specializes in boxing on dvd and im just curious as to if this is legal or not? i am interested in purchasing some but i dont want any part of it if its illegal? if anyone can help me figure out if this is copyright infingment please do.

Its illegal to sell it not to buy it, the guy your buying it from could get in ****, but your fine to buy it.

a question similar to this was asked not too long ago, i don't remember exactly what the answer was word for word but from my understanding, it isn't legal but at the same time it isn't illegal either. that's pretty much the answer in a nutshell.
