its illegal to tan in a tanning salon under the age of 18 now?

is this true?

Yes, I believe that it is true unless you have parental consent. Though it seems harmless you can get very serious burns, perhaps the tanning booth owners are just trying to protect themselves from a law suit.

I think it is as long as you have a parent with you.
