Is this invention taken?

Question

So video games are big. I was thikning of making a virtual video game arena/sphere. Like, you are in this ball, and all around you, is virtual, but you play like it is real..you know...it looks real, and everything.

But someone has probably come up with that right?

Where can i find if stuff is patented yet or not>?
