Is this is too risky?

hey, I go to a state school and I want to move to the city which is 5 min away from my school but the next state over. I would still use my mother's address for school but actually live in a different state. If the college found out it would be fraud and I'd have to pay all the grants I get back, and all the out of state tuition that I would have been paying otherwise. But I know a ton of people who do this so they don't have to have a car and it's way cheaper. Nothing would change on paper so they'd have no way of knowing, but still is this too risky being that I get 8 grand in grants?

  1. You are asking is fraud is risky?

I think you know the answer to that.

You probably would not get caught and nothing would happen to your schooling, but these things have a way of catching up with you one way or another. Might not be today or 5 years from now, but you will pay for your dishonesty at some point in your life.

  2. Don't be an idiot and do something so risky and stupid. Just find an apartment near the school or go to a dorm.

  3. LOL Fraud? This could really really s***w u!  dishonesty could get u booted from the school! If they find out ur senior year all your hard work could be lost!  Seriously don't do this it is a really really bad idea lol!
