Have you been sexually active? You can't get it from masturbation, making out(according to the nurse, it would take up to gallons of exchanged saliva to get it from making out), and the other rumors. Consult google about "STD myths" and check out pictures of STD's or something.

I once thought I might have SOMEHOW gotten an STD without s*x because a similar thing happened to me. they showed us pictures in s*x ed, and they discussed it and I thought I might have had it.

Figured out it was just sore from the unnecessary scratching. But srsly, I know its hard talking to it about anyone, but if it lasts too long you should consult a doctor. its either embarrassment or put yourself in a harmful position. i think they have anonymous clinics.

Oh, and it depends on what kind of STD it is. Some can be treated, some can't.
