  1. Sounds like you are trying to recite talking points from Fox News.  If you truly think that a democrat in office is going to cause you to give your "hard earned" money to a poor black mother of 5, then there is no need to try and educate you.  You are too far gone.  Most of the taxed rich in a scenario that would cause them to pay more, earned their money the old fashion way, Inheritance and stock portfolios.

  2. Funny, I listen to Fox News all the time, never heard that as a talking point! WOWwwww, this is what KOS tells it readers to say as a way of discrediting news that points out the truth...yes, it is communism/socialism. Look up the communist manifesto, you can see for yourself, I did.

  3. No - communism is the centralized planning of the economy and state ownership of the means of production. Obama is not advocating anything like that.

Yes he does want to increase taxes on the very rich. He is advocating higher rates for those earning $250,000/year or more. Everybody else will stay the same or be better off.

People who work hard will still earn more - they will also contribute back to the country that gave them thier opportunities.

  4. GW Bush supports the communists in China....gee....i wonder why there but not korea or Cuba..

  5. It is a concept of socialism called 'wealth redistribution.'

And socialism is the basis for Communism. Communism is a more authoritarian form of socialism.

No, it isn't fair to forcibly take from one, to subsidize another. It creates complacency and laziness on the part of the receiving end. And it discourages the wealthy from investing. The wealthy use their capital to invest and create jobs in this country, the less they invest the less jobs we have. Which creates more poor and needy...

EDIT: We have what is called a 'progressive' tax code, meaning the more you make, the more you pay in taxes. The middle class pays more in taxes, a higher percent of income, than someone below middle class. So yea, the middle class pays more than everyone below them.

Check out this link, it shows who really pays the taxes in the US.

  6. not communist but socialist, yes middle-income would get taxed heavily.not good at all for anyone except the elitists tax and spend pork barrel bottom-feeders.

  7. You say that as if $1 million extra in taxes makes a difference to someone who makes $500 million a year.  Even Obama's tax plan is just a gimmick.  The rich will remain rich and the poor will remain poor, the only difference will be the poor won't be joining the army just to get 3 square meals a day.

  8. No, it's not communist. It means Barack Obama's tax policies are different than John McCain's tax policies. There's more to communism than how people are taxed. No major politician in America is communist or supportive of communist policies.

Whether you're an Obama supporter or a McCain supporter, that's the facts.

  9. Good to see you get your info from Fox News.  And that you have no heart.

It would be kinda stupid to tax the poor and give to the rich wouldn't it?

Good going America.  Let's defend the incredibly wealthy, who can't defend themselves. Does my heart good.

  10. From my knowledge communisim is never good. However the rich must give to the poor, but this might make the poor lazy, so the poor must work too. Anyways in such satuations The solution must b somewhere in the middle, so a lil help from the rich won't make America a communist country.

  11. Communists don't care about fair, and they don't care about our opinions.

Communists oppose freedom with forced "equality" (read: the elite are the members of the party) and fairness with "justice" (read: imposing the whims of the group in charge).

  12. Yes, this is what Obama wants to do and it's socialism. He has a lot more socialist ideas for America too.

  13. Don't be overly concerned. Presidential candidates always make huge promises they won't have the power to honor even if they gain the office they're running for. Even after the damage done to the system by the Bush Administration, we still have a (semi-) effective system of checks and balances. A president isn't all-powerful and can't do whatever he wants.

  14. Obombus & insane McCain are one in the same.  "THE" republOCRATIC party owns them both.  IF, your serious about the quality off your future check out...  LP.org  ...then join up & support our constitutionally based REPRESENTATIVES of & for the people.

At current, the repubies/demmies ONLY offer politicians(magicians!) to vote for(save Ron Paul).

  15. yes and I'm all for it

  16. I am a communist, and I do support Obama for president (primarily because I do not want a republican president replacing 2 soon-to-be-retiring liberal members of the supreme court) , but, (I'm sorry to say) in NO way does Obama's plans amount to anything even close to communism.

Communism requires the nationalization of business and industry.  Nowhere does Obama talk about doing that.  He just wants to modestly increase the taxes of the very wealthy, whose percentage of wealth has gone up dramatically in the past 30 years (meanwhile, those of us in the lowest economic class have seen our percentage go down.  The US didn't use to be like that.  At one point in our history, all of the economic classes experienced the same basic percentage rise in our wealth.  Those days are gone.  Truly, the rich get richer while the poor get poorer.)

  17. if all the rich people suddenly became poor, who would own and run the companies and corporations that employ millions of people? poor people can't do it, if they could, they would not envy the rich so much and have things going for themselves. i know for sure ma and pop shops can only higher a few citizens at a time. even they the small shop owners will be weary of exceeding the limit and fall into the rich bracket and being taxed to feed some lazy person who's considered poorer than they.

  18. Yes. It is socialist, which is the beginning stage of communism.
