I live in Vancouver, BC.

Do you think I could buy a few blank tshirts, put my own designs on them by screen printing, make a facebook group, and sell them to people who are interested just like that?

i think so, it would be a great idea. i think it will only be illegal if you make a brand name or trademark items...because you need to register it first...but for casual selling i think it would be ok...just like making your own lemonade stand and selling per glass :p

Yea, nothing wrong about it, I don't think Facebook would mind, and no problem with the blank shirt, as long as you paid for it,  its yours to use as you like.
