Is this makeup appropriate for a 13 year old girl?

I am 13 years old and going into 8th grade.

I belive in natural beauty but i still get irrated about my acne of course...this is what i usually wear...

very light clear gloss :)

very blended cover up foundation that matches my skin

sometimes i like wearing gray eye liner or hazel since i shouldnt wear too much...and too dark since im blonde

i have pretty blue eyes so i think the liner is good :)

sometimes if i relly am in the mood i like clear mascara as well.

i think this is a good amount, i dont always wear makeup but i do alot .

i dont like it to notice to much....

i BARELY waer eye shadow....only on special occasions, partiees, slumber parties and stuff like that.

and if i do waer shadow its a very light clearish pink or tan :)

it blends nicely with my skin

so i think this is good...well yeah...

you should use:

foundation

gray eye liner or brown

once coat of brownish black/ dark brown mascara (try lashblast from covergirl)

a little pink powder blush on the apples of your cheeks

and fruity flavored lip gloss that isnt sticky (try smackers)

if you want to where eyeshadow try a sheer shimmering cream or light pink color.

that sounds great.. yeah, im a blonde too, its so much harder for blondes isnt it? try brown mascara sometimes and a light bare naturales skin tone glitter eyeshadow. it is good too

im also 13 and i think yours is fine.

i wear foundation, black eyeliner, mascara, and eyeshadow.

but then again im a brunette.

Yeah, why would you think it isn't?

You seem to be fine and confident with your make-up and think it's age appropriate. It sounds okay to me. When I was 13 I only wore eyeliner underneath my eyes and some lips gloss.

You could always be adventurous and try a different color eyeliner like teal  or anything else that looks good with your complexion.

Avoid putting on too much foundation though. Don't cake it on. That's just nasty. I hate foundation. Blue lipstick is cool too

Oh yeah, its perfect :)...the foundation part scares me a bit because im assuming you have a lot of acne and the foundation doesnt allow your skin to breathe which in turn results in more acne. Id say you should try proactive and such and get hari away from face to try and get rid of some acne before applyign foundation. Other than that, for a 13 year old, the makeup is perfect. Its not too much and i think you got it right on...it shouldnt be ovbious that you are wearing makeup.

If you "barely" put on make up then its okay.

But hun, if you line your eyes too dark or layer too much foundation (at the age of 13!) then people are going to think  you look cheap and you are trying to look older than you really are.

And that isn't good.

Guys like it when girls are confident, and wearing really shear make up is a great way of showing confidence. -not hiding behind a "mask"-

Ps. I hardly wore any make up at 13. I just started to line my eyes

I think that sounds very appropriate for a 13 year old. Keep it light like you are; you sound like you really know what you're doing. :)
