Is this meal healthy for a 14 year old??????

ok so im 14 and i workout 7 days a week. i do strength exercises 7 days a week and i run 3 times a week. i am 5'7 and 120 pounds. sooooooo last night for dinner my whole family including my cousins went to subway and i got a wrap. they said it was one of their low carb ones. soooooo i got that and then i filled it with tons of veggies and a non fat sweet onion sauce. im not worried or anything but im just wondering was that really healthy. i know there wasnt meat in it cause im a vegetarian. so honestly was that not healthy?????

  1. eating a veggie wrap is completely fine. Since your a vegetarian, thats what you are able to eat anyway. However, you must subsitute not eating meat with other sources of protein, like beans for example. there are others, but beans are a good source of protein and fiber.

  3. The vegetables are good.  As a matter of fact you should be having a wide variety of fresh fruits and vegetables inclusive of raw vegetables, green leafy vegetables and sea vegetables in your diet.  Frankly I do not have a problem with indulging in dressings as long as it is not overdone.

    However in addition to your vegetable diet, you also need to make sure, you're have at least one meal of fruits each day.  You need to eat all kids of fruits you can put your hand on.  That goes for the vegetables also.  And as a vegetarian you are required to eat more seed, grains and nuts than the average meat eaters.

    Do not forget your water 8 - 10 glasses per day of pure water.
