I just looked on the internet and it says before taking Co-codamol, make sure your doctor knows if you suffer from bowel problems such as constipation" - I'm suffering from going quite a bit now. It's not a regular thing (I'm ill). Am I still ok to take them?

Also I am taking them for cramp in my stomach, I don't know whether its diarrhoea cramp or period cramps, and it says its for period cramps..

  1. first call your doctors office and talk to them about it.

second.  i would stop the pill if I though it was giving me diaharea.

read the label  does it say daily?  or till symptoms are relieved?

    CALL THE DOCTOR ASAP

You could get seriously dehydrated if you keep this up.

  2. Co-codamal is absolutely fine for your pain, whether it be menstrual cramps or otherwise.

Codeine can cause constipation but there are plenty of ways to relieve it naturally without refraining from the medication.

  3. CALL your Doctor ! You can also ask any pharmacist. I would suggest that you take an anti-diarrhoea medicine. Ask your pharmacist which one is safe to take. Please call your Doctor because you can get dehydrated ! Drink pedialyte fruit flavor too
