Is this motherboard compatible with this power supply?

Because when Installed my motherboard to the ATX 12v plug it fit but i realized that it did not look like it went into it, Also i cant turn on my computer, don't know whats wrong i have been at it all day

  1. yes, it is,

    your power supply's main connector is a 20 pin, with an additional 4 pin attachment that you also need to plug in, if you look at the 2 connectors, there are grooves so they can slide together

    make sure you do NOT connect the 4 pin CPU fan connector into the main supply connector of the motherboard


  2. the motherboard connector will only fit in one way so if you have gotten it to fit then thats most likely not the problem. have you made sure you have connected the 4 or even 6 pin Proccessor power connector too?

    is the ram secure? and do you have the power switch connected to the right socket on the motherboard, if it has been ever disconnected?

    try these and update your question so we know if any of these work mate!

  3. Yes, the motherboard has a 24 pin power connector, the power supply has a 20+4 which the two can be put together to make 24

  4. Not many people know that ,you have to go with manufacture specification sometimes even cable lenght will not allow you to use different UPS,

    or case will not sits right into your pc frame or terminal,be careful..
