Is this motor fast?

okay im probblily going to put a powermax 16hp gas motor on my go gokart so my frame will probbly weigh 65-110 pounds and me weighs about 130pds and my dad weighs about 160 190 (it is a one seater gokart) so what would be the horsepower and top speed be with me on the kart then whats the horsepower and top speed with my dad on the kart

Well its a 16hp gas motor. Your hp will be 16. Always.

If you are referring to the hp to weight ratio, at 110lb (cart alone) you will be getting max acceleration with 0.14hp per lb. With your weight added you will decrease acceleration by about half at 0.06 hp/ lb and with your dad it would be 400lbs which reduces hp to 0.04hp/lb.

That motor has more than enough power to move pretty much anyone that can fit into the kart. The real question is what gear ratio you should be using. Since the motor has alot of power, it's safe to assume it's acceleration is higher. What you'll want to do is give it a small axle gear, and a bigger drive gear. This should balance out to give you decent acceleration and a good top speed.
