a mountain bike is the best,  when i was buying my bike he said to me at the end of the day " you get what you pay for"

if you doing it for the fashion then the suspension isnt going to be good. the mountain bikes are build to last most bumps but your looking at a £600- £1,000 bike. :)) good luck.

Ur best off getting a specialized or a scott

they are a lot better.

Felt are only good for BMXS

If your going to be doing some off-roading then you may want to spend a few more to get better forks and components.

That Felt has very low end components.

Looks about right for the money.  The components are not too bad.  Felt are OK as a brand.  Spending an extra 100 could get you a well known brand, but for the money this is a nice tidy bike.  Would be tempted to change the forks though.  75mm is OK for racing, but you might have trouble with this shock for anything above a medium route.
