Question:

Is this much to lose..?

Currently, I'm 168lbs looking to lose 18lbs.

Is this much more to lose? I've already lose 10lbs by simply making lifestyle changes. I suppose I'm looking for a little motivation.

What time-frame should I give myself for this?

I mean, I gained the weight very quickly (30lbs in about 4 months) due to poor eating choices, so hopefully being overweight ON TOP of gaining quickly shouldn't make it TOO difficult.

Thoughts, suggestions? 10 points to best answer, thank you! <3

  1. Obviously diet was the #1 cause to your weight gain. So make it your #1 cause to weight loss. Try eating 6-8 small portion meals a day at about 200-300 calories per meal. Make sure you are eating a good Carb and protein mix to. Also, if you are a gym person doing leg and back excersizes and jogging speed your metabolism up drastically as will eating every 2 to 3 hours. Having good healthy food in your body all the times means your body will not have to store fat for energy. It will use the food you provide for it. Try this and keep on track and dont binge on cookies and milk for a week and id say a realistic weight loss per month would be 4-8 lbs a month. Hope this helps you good luck

  2. Most people can lose about 20 pounds fairly easily but struggle to lose more than that. However, if you gained the weight quickly and it really was through poor eating choices, not through medical problems, it may come off just as quickly.

Give yourself about three months of exercising and eating well and see how you do!

  3. Exercise daily for 1 hour on treadmill.
