Is this my baby bump or something else?

Ok. Last night I posted a question asking people if this was my baby bump. Like, last night, you could run your hand over my lower abdominal and feel whatever it is sticking out. It wasn't visible, but you could feel it. Last night was the first time I've noticed this. But when I woke up this morning it was way flatter. I mean, you could feel it, but it wasn't like last night. It was way flatter. Was that not my baby bump? I'm 16 weeks with my first.

  1. Babies move about all the time. Some days mine looks smaller than other days, its completely normal and can be quite frustrating sometimes!

    Good luck :)

  2. Well a lot of it depends more on your body frame.  If you're stick thin, then a baby bump would be very obvious by now.  If you're average or slightly overweight, then you may not notice it as much quite yet.  If you're fairly overweight, you may not really find a baby bump until you're about 20-24 weeks along.   Generally at 16 weeks there's not too much to feel - the baby is still small, but the uterus is more than midway up to your belly button.  Whether your bladder is full, whether you're having any bloating, etc will all affect how the bump looks day to day.

  3. probably was (your uterus i think is what your talking about) at around 16 weeks some women ~ ecsp. with there 1 st dont really "poke" out yet....however in the evening you tend to be more bloated and that kinda makes you pop a little more, also between about 18-22 weeks is when i always hit my little (or big;-) growth spurt, yours is probably coming up. Dont worry, we all grow at diffrent stages... GOD BLESS!!!

  4. It could be, I'm 38 weeks and when I lean  back all you can see it her big butt and back, but thats only when I lean back, and when you move around so does the baby. So I say its a big possibility it is the baby,

  5. It could be the way s/he is sitting. There is still a lot of room for him/her to move around in so it may protrude more at different times. I didn't noticeably show until about 5-6months. This is my first too. But every one is different. You may start to feel flutters soon. I did at 17wks.. All the best..

  6. Yes it is your baby bump. Your belly is going to change a bit every day, maybe last night you were bloated or gassy and your stomach was a bit bigger and today your not, so it will be a bit smaller. Don't worry, one day you will wake up and look down and there will be a defined baby bump there and you will say WHOA When did that happen?!

  7. Your tummy will show more at night than in the morning. It's because of all the food and drinks you've had throughout the day. You will wake up flatter in the morning but as the day goes on, you will notice how it will show more and more. This is your baby bump!! Pretty soon, your tummy will be so big, you will forget what flat looked like. lol.. good luck and congrats!!

  8. you would be able to feel a little something by now =)
