Is this my meds?????

i have a urinary tract infecton and i think my meds are making my pee a funny color has any one had that effect while thaking that kinda of med (my pee is like a saftey yellow color )

Probably, if one of the meds was to numb your urinary tract and "saftey yellow" is a bright orange color. See the first link, below for my source. Other sites that may interest you are also linked below.

On a related topic, you have probably by now developed a healthy fear of UTIs. I suffered from several of these infections when I was on hormonal birth control; below is what I learned to do to prevent them.

   ~Stay hydrated (that is, drink enough water)

   ~Practice stress management

   ~Drink a cup of 100%, no-sugar-added cranberry, blueberry, or blended juice a day*

   ~Eat organic yogurt regularly (the non-organic brand names may contain too much sugar)

*Certain fruit juices can interfere with meds, so ask your doctor if you are anything else unusual.

You should have gotten a pamphlet with the meds, it would tell you its a normal side effect. I don't know why it happens. Maybe some genius will come on here to let you know. :) But, its normal.
