  1. That one looks scary haha, That looks like you will be spending WAY more money than you need to.  I would just go to the pet store and get some clippers there I go to vet school and we use these:  http://petco.com/product/15409/Finishing...

    They work great!

  2. It would be perfect for a guinea pig or even simpler just take your pig on a short walk every day and that will naturally fix its nails but don't just cut them because if you cut them too short they will bleed for awhile!

  3. DO NOT waste your money on that. A regular human nail clipper is perfectly safe for a guinea pig.

this is the one I use, very inexpensive:

How to clip nails: The only hazard in clipping guinea pig nails is breaking past the bloodline, if you do this, then the guinea pig may bleed. Do not be alarmed, keep your calm,

"It's always a good idea to have a "styptic pencil" handy (available in the men's shaving area of your local drug store) or aluminum sulfate power (also from the drug store). Touch the end of the bleeding nail with the pencil or the powder and the bleeding will stop immediately."

I have never actually broken the bloodline, but be careful. For black nails, your sort of need to cut the nail little by little 2-3 times a week to let the bloodline recede. For white nails, its much easier, because the line is clearly seen (where the white turns to pink). So just carefully clip the white off twice a week and you'll have a very healthy pig!

    really good website below:

    Good Luck

  4. That looks like a very good one.

If you want to save money, a regular human clipper will work just fine. A small pet one is the best because it's specifically for the purpose.

  5. I saw the commercial for those on television and thought it was only for cats and dogs? =/
