Is this name .. weird or cute??

Question

i met someone today with the name 'cheslie.' (pronounced chess-lee)

i love it! but i would worry that people would mistake it for chelsea? or people would think that my parents accidentally spelt my name wrong?

what do you think?

I actually went to school with someone named Chesley, that's how HE spelled it. I dont know if you were planning on using it for a guy or girl, but the person I knew was a guy. I had a class with him. The first day the teacher pronounced it Chelsea, and Im sure that happens often if you dont look close enough to the ending. I love the name though, it's very cute

I've never heard of this before. But I don't think it's spelled Cheslie..maybe Chesslee, or Chesslei. I honestly prefer regular Chelsea

I like it, it's kinda cute. Everyone's unique in their own way. I mean, my name is spelled Hilary and everyone says that my parents spelled it wrong because it doesn't have 2 l's in it. It's just a fact of life. People just have to get over it and move on. I say go for it if you love it that much.

i actually really like it. im not a fan of chelsea but i like this name, i would like it better spelled Chesley though

It rhymes with Nestle, like the chocolate. Not a fan. :)

confusing, originally I thought it said "Chelsea" peoples brains automatically correct spellings that are off, so many people probably do what I did and read it wrong
