Yes, thanx to youtube he got a chance to fight with Exlight (what every the h**l its called), and he  turned into  a star. To all the people that lovers Kimbo so much, what big names has he fought? The UFC has the best fighter now; In tell he beats Fedor Emelianenko, Tim Silvia, Nogueira, Cro Cop, or Josh Barnett, he is okay at best. Dont get me wrong he does have some talent and physical gifts, but for now he is not all that great.

I like Kimbo and i think he is a tough strong fighter. I think he is a little overrated but he is good. The only thing that pisses me off about watching him is when he gets tired he just quits. He needs to work on his conditioning a lot better. He has the power to knock anyone out with his standup that is only when he isn't tired. Give him a break he just started and for those of you that are talking **** and saying he sucks you have no reason to because i'm pretty sure Kimbo could kick your ***.

The purpose of the Kimbo hype is to bring folks who maybe wouldn't have watched MMA if it wasn't for the intrigue of seeing Kimbo the street brawler fight and win.  Elite knows fans of MMA will watch, their goal is to those who haven't yet, to grow the market.  IMO Kimbo should have been used to hype the card, but the main event was a bit too much for seasoned MMA fans.

BTW Brock would decimate Kimbo, if James Thompson can take him down I think one of the great NCAA wrestlers of our generation would be able to just fine except he hits harder than any other HW on the ground, no way the ref can let it go 1:42 with Lesnar pounding.

Kimbo sucks if he fights anyone in the UFC that is in his weight class he would get destroyed, he barely beat Thompson who

has no ground skills and he still had kimbo almost beaten, so if he fought Liddell, Rampage, Wanderlei, or even Anderson Silva

he would get destroyed, and these are guys who like to keep it standing.

I think right now he is overrated, if he were to be paired up with a UFC fighter he would be demolished. He has potential though. Right now he reminds me of Brock Lesnar, all the talent but new to the sport.

So far, he is overrated. His ground game is terrible. If there would have been more time left in the second round, he would have lost. He would not stand a chance against any of the top fighters in the UFC.

Kimbo is greatly overated.  But he is a the Buzz right now because of his youtube fights.  Everyone knows it.  He is a tough dude but he would be crushed by the top tier of the MMA world.  As for his fight.  I don't think it was fixed.  The other guys just had his ear explode and took 4 straight shots to the head.  His head was bouncing around and he was not defending anything.  I have seen many fights stopped for less.  People know this but because they hate Kimbo they call the fight fixed.  Kimbo is more of an entertainer than a MMA fighter at this point.  But he is trying.  Unfortunatly he is getting in the game way to late. But if he can get the pay check.  So be it.
