  1. yes

  2. newspapers are not impartial to begin with.

i felt that this particular article portrayed the chinese government very sympathetically.

every newspaper has a tendency to lean left, right, or middle; to be pro or anti government. they can do this in subtle ways, such as not including interviews with people who hold a different view or not including objections to research conclusions, etc.

journalists are not impartial. they're human beings that are affected by their own history and worldviews. some of them are aware of it, but others are not.

  3. i guess you are right

  4. I'm not sure how the story was biased -- didn't see a whole lot of room for judgment. Numbers are always a little tough, as you have to rely on outside agencies (police, government officials, etc.) But the reporter may not have access to check things out himself or herself.

  5. all newspapers are biased.

  6. Yes because you are

  7. if a person has a brain, they have a bias. Robots arent journalists. People are, and people have opinions.

  8. NO!!! In a modern world where paper tend to tell you what they want you to believe rather than report news this account seems entirely honest!!

In asking the question are you not the one with the bias?!!!
