Is it normal to have shortness of breath, some dizzyness and a fast heart beat at 32 weeks. For about 3 hours today that happened to me, seems a bit better now..but.. Every few minutes it seems hard to breath. Or it feels like someone is sitting on my chest? Ive already dropped drastically, so i dont think she is putting pressure on my lungs or anything.

  1. I've dealt with that too in the last few weeks.  My blood pressure is fine but I've noticed that when I move to quickly I get those symptoms.  It happens to me a few times a day as well.  I think it's pretty normal due to the higher volume of blood in our bodies.  I just sit down when I feel that way and after a min or so everything  is better.  Good luck :)

  2. im not a doctor or anything, and dont know much about pregnancy, but your best bet would to just go to the doctor. everyone is different, even if someone tells you its ok on here, just go to the doctor to be safe.

  3. call your dr. it sounds like you might need to go in. it may also be a panic attack

  4. I would call and ask your OB or midwife just to be on the safe side. I also experience the shortness of breath and fast heart beats but a lot of it has to do with me having mild asthma and a heart murmur.  My baby is in head down position, too but I still think some of it has to do with him putting pressure on my lungs. I don't get the dizzy spells like I did in the beginning of my pregnancy- just make sure you drink a lot of water and eat. Good Luck

  5. It sure is hun. I had this from about 34 weeks with both of mine. Baby is running out of room in there :)

  6. Its really normal actually. I have the same problem at 33 weeks 5 days. Had a doctor's appointment last week and she said its normal as long as you don't have chest pains to go with it. Its beucase your stomach and other organs are being pushed up into your lung area. Lie down and drink lots of water.
