I went to the dentist on Thrusday, I got 4 cavaties filled only on the left side of my mouth.

I'm going next week to get the right side done.

Anyway, He numbed me up with the gas machine and injected me ect ect and got to work.

Yesterday I saw on my left side , that on the lower bottom of my cheek. close to my jaw I have a bruise.

Is it normal to bruise after this procedure?

  1. Not uncommon to have bruises.  I would however mention it to the dentist when you go back.

  2. do you mean on the skin? or on the inside on your gum?

if it's on the gum, it's probably just the puncture mark from the shot.

if it's on your cheek, it's probably just there from being sore from the shot. but i never get bruises like that.

  3. <> Its very normal to bruise after this,,,,maybe you are just more prone to bruising than the next person> hey,,,,be grateful he gave you gas.> lol <
