Is this normal? Today, I just got a call from company for phone screen interview on next Monday.?

it's four business days from now. It seem too far for me for scheduling phone interview. What do you think? Is this normal?

Yes, this is normal and It is becoming more popular for businesses to do phone screen interviews for most anything now.  More companies are doing away with paper. This entails the use of phone interviews and it cuts down  on the gas usage and time in interviewing. The only time that they need to see you is if you are actually a possible for hire; then, you take a drug test, etc. Most phone screen interviews are done after the review of resumes and applications. I suggest scheduling the phone interview if you really want the job.

Yeah, that's within normal range. . . a bit on the long side, but maybe the people who do the phone screen are tied up this week or at a conference or something.

I have scheduled phone interviews as little as an hour ahead, or as much as two weeks.  I wouldn't worry about it at all.

The job I just started scheduled a phone interview about six days out, but made the offer the following day.
