  1. Sounds like you have an infection. there shouldn't be a bad smell. i had it as well. You need some antibiotics.

  2. Phone your midwife or doctor. Foul smells are often a sign of infection. get it checked out as soon as you can.

  3. Didn't your doctor tell you that if you had a discharge and foul odor from your v****a to go the emergency room?  Or weren't you listening because that is one of the "discharge orders" doctors/nurses give prior to discharging a new mother from hospital.  In fact it's part of the paperwork you have to sign in most hosptials.  Get to the emergency room you may have an infection.

  4. i would get to a doctor b/c it might be some infection.

  5. i would make an appt with your OB, you could have an infection of some sort or at least call their office and ask them.

  6. i have had 3 kids...i have never experienced discharge that smells so bad..that u could smell it through the clothes....

would u maybe have a little infection....of the womb i mean?......do u have any added pain other then the obvious post labour pain?

    think about it :)

  7. I agree with everyone else on this one, there shouldn't be a bad smell, that indicates something is amiss.  My advice is to call your doctor sooner rather than later, you need to be seen.  good luck

  8. definitely ask your doc. but I'm guessing it's your body cleansing itself

  9. Anytime you have a foul smelling discharge you should call the doctor, postpartum, or not!

  10. i would book and appointment with you ob/ gyn or even GP as soon as you can.

it sound like there may be an infection. did you have a tear or an episiotomy?

there definatly should not be a bad smell so i would get it checked out.

please don't wait until you 6 week pp checkup

  11. Go to your GP as it sounds like you have an infection.

  12. make a appoiment with your OB right way.
