Is this normal during pregnancy in the third trimester?

i'm 41 weeks pregnant (getting induced wednesday). i noticed i could push down on my baby's bottom from the top of my belly. now as the weeks go by, my baby's bottom is getting closer and closer to my navel. is it because my baby is dropping?

That's exactly why.  Your baby is dropping down further into your pelvis.
