Is this normal family behaviour?

So i was at my friends house when he wound up getting into an argument with his brother. His brother knuckle walked over to my friend and hit him, my friend jumped up, started beating his chest than the two ofthem rolled around hitting each other and biting with thier harp teeth, than their parents came out to see what was happening. His mother peeled a banana and comforted my firned but their father angrily flung his f***s in the older brother face. the older brother looked confused and scratched his head, then he picked up the banana peel and thre it at the father. than he swung on the chandelier and jumped out the window. I had never seen anything like this and I just wanted to know is this normal behaviour amongst families?
