For the past week or so my "morning sickness" is back. ( I am 33 weeks pregnant). I am not throwing up, but nauseous all day on and off. Also I get shortness of breath, even if im not moving. Sometimes my heart starts going so fast and I can barely breath. (specially when im laying down). Is baby pushing on my lungs? Or should i be more concerned. She seems to be moving just fine.

  1. This started happening to me at about 32 weeks and it is still happening now and i'm 38 weeks I just think its the late uncomfortable c**p that happens to some women late in pregnancy. my doctor says i'm fine but what worries me is that my heartbeats so hard sometimes it hurts, I thought it might be pre ecclampsia but he tested me and I was wrong. I don't think it's anything really wrong with us i just think it's "normal" late pregnant stuff.

  2. i'm 36 weeks and have been going through the same thing! :D the nausea is back. and about when ur heart starts going so fast try this: put ur hand on ur tummy, u'll notice that when u go through this shortness of breath ur uterus is tightening thats why u're experiencing that. and it's better if u lay on ur side instead of on ur back so u can breath better.

  3. Hi I am not sure about the morning sickness but sounds fine to me.  Regarding the breathing and shortness of breath though, if you are not sure always get it checked out by a GP or your midwife, but I have also experienced my heart beating really fast and sometimes feels like heart palpitations.  I got mine checked out to be safe and all is fine, my GP told me it is normal and happens because your heart has to work faster to support the baby.  You also have a lot more blood flowing round so it needs to work harder for this too.  Nothing to worry about but if you are really concerned just pop to your GP or call your midwife for piece of mind.

  4. I also have the shortness of breath and rapid heartbeat even when I am just sitting on the couch, I am pretty sure it is normal. I was told that the nausea sometimes comes back towards the end of pregnancy for some women.

  5. you sound fine sweetie. some woman handle pregnancies in a less difficult way, while others have more conflicts. make sure you're not going through anything extreme, like severe bleeding or fainting, then that needs immediate medical attention.
