My daughter will be 11 weeks old this week, and she hasnt rolled over from her stomach to her back yet, and she isnt really trying that hard too. Its hard to do tummy time so I know that is part of the problem, but I heard babies are suppose to be able to do that by now. Anything I can do to help, when did your child roll from tummy to back?

  1. she's just fine! most babies can't even do that til they're 4 or 5 months and your baby isn't even 3 months yet! my daughter was almost 5 months before she could do it.

  2. My daughter is 11 weeks old too.  she hasn't rolled yet and we do tummy time each day.  I am not worried about it and you shouldn't be either!  It sort of puts my mind at ease that she hasn't esp if she starts rolling around in her crib.  I know that she will get there eventually.

  3. My son is 4 1/2 months and isn't rolling over eitehr way yet, he just recently started showing any interest. 11 weeks is young!

  4. oh no there not suppsoed to do that till there like 6 months lol my son is 4 months and dont do that yet she will. good luck

  5. I'm pretty sure that most babies don't do that until they are about 4 months old.  My son is 6 months old.  He can roll from his back to his tummy, but not from his tummy to his back.  He isn't able to sit on his own either, but I know that all babies are different!

Just stick to the tummy time.  Even a few minutes each day helps.

  6. My Daughter was about 11 weeks (now 15 weeks) when she started rolling from back to front but she hasn't managed to roll from front to back yet as her arm always seems to be in the way. As far as helping your Daughter is concerned, I think you'll need to just encourage her to be mobile and active and also increase tummy time. Once she gets the hang of it, they'll be no stopping her.
