My son keeps getting up in the middle of the night to p**p on our dog. The dog doesnt really seem to mind being pooped on, but is this ok behavior? What should I do?

  1. Um...NO that's not OK behavior! Your son is mimiking the dog...Your dog might not p**p on people or on another animal but your son sees the dog don't use a "bathroom" so to speak so your son may think it's okay that he don't either and that he uses the dog! You should probably talk to your pediatrician about that or the Dr. which ever you use. I've been in daycare for a long time and one child did that but he peed on the cat in th emiddle of the night...Get it checked out and explain to him that the dog goes OUTSIDE and he goes in the bathroom ONLY!

  2. It amazes me that you even have to ask. Of course it's not normal.

If he was pooping on the floor maybe I could understand , but to actually p**p on the dog. That's weird.

  3. No it is not normal behavior. I would talk to your pediatrician and get a referral for a behavioral specialist.

  4. If your serious , which you may be, it is very unsanitary. Rota-virus can put a child in the hospital and your dog would have to be washed efficiently every time this happens, and you should also talk with your six year old. it may have been something traumatic that happened, make sure he is not getting abused by anyone, hard as that is to write. Talk to your doctor also. Tell your son that we use restrooms, specifically commodes for putting our waste in. Please look into professional help if you can not stop this.
