Is this normal for a nose piercing?

I've had my nose pierced for a while now. the other day, i got it changed from a stud to a hoop. the stud wasnt a gauge, but the hoop was, so the guy had to push it thru. now, theres a lump right above the hole. is this normal? will it ever go away? its a little sore but it doesnt bleed or anything.

It's called a goiter. (sp.?) You need to wash with antibacterial soap @ least twice a day or after sweating a lot or getting dirty. and once a day you need to soak a cotton ball in warm water and sea salt and apply it to your nose for about 5 minutes and rinse with warm water. If the bump gets bigger or begins to hurt contact the place you piercer and or a doctor asap.
